Our Opti-Time for Pick-up & Delivery solution is a version from the Opti-Time Resource Management Suite that is specially designed for planning delivery and pick-up routes.
Opti-Time is a “full web” solution, fully accessible via a web browser.
1/Integrating and configuring customers and resources: - Opti-Time lets you identify all of your customers and their specifications: address, hours of business, contact information, etc.
- You can also enter specific, detailed information about your resources: number of vehicles, location, capacity, number of drivers per vehicle, drivers-delivery personnel and availability.
(All of this data can be imported directly from your information system or from .csv documents). - The scheduling also respects work rules specific to your business: rules related to Human Resources (legal working hours, overtime, time off, etc.), delivery type (required vehicle capacity, number of delivery personnel required, etc.
2/ Scheduling routes and managing new delivery and pick-up requests: - Opti-Time for Pick-up & Delivery offers an appointment scheduling interface that displays available delivery times.
- They are displayed in terms of the availability of your delivery personnel, and the geographic locations of depots and customers. The most suitable and cost-effective time slots are shown. They correspond to the shortest distances and the best fit into the delivery person's schedule.
- The system generates optimized schedules for each delivery person: workload balancing, improved route itineraries and reduced travel distance, rationalization of the number of resources used.
All the information related to a delivery can be displayed directly from the schedule. - You can generate detailed route maps and waybills at any time for each delivery person, along with the order in which they are make deliveries or pick-ups during their route. Each route's itinerary can be viewed dynamically on a map.
